Does she speak with a perfect American accent until she reaches a word of Spanish or Mexican origin, wherein she pronounces the word with such an obnoxiously thick Italian Mexican accent that it makes me want to vomit? Because that was the one thing that drove me insane about Giada. That and the fact that she makes a big deal out of making a grilled cheese sandwich.

I watched Giada make lamb for 3 year olds yesterday. I no longer have a crush on her anymore. I'll still stare at her tits for a few minutes...but then I have to change the channel. High-def is not kind to her.

I can watch a full half hour of Marcela. But apparently she doesn't get the air time that Giada does. This should change.

^You had to look at the meal as a whole, but the lamb just put it over the top.

She started of saying she was making the meal for her daughter and some friends coming over. When she mentioned that her daughter "loved lamb"...I figured her daughter would be some middle-schooler or early teenager.

Then she made like four courses of food that was full of butter, sugar, and salt. I'm definitely not a health freak, but I wouldn't feed my kids the food she was making with the amount of fat/sugar/salt that she was putting in. And the ingredients she was using probably totaled around $200.

Then at the end of the episode they went to the table and it was a bunch of 3-year olds. wtf??

Watching this episode the day after I discovered Marcela has caused me to not give a shit about Giada.
