Anyone have a recomendation for any free pdf editors? I just need something that can combine files and re-order pages. I've just been using the software on my work computer to do it, but would really like something on my personal computer. Anyone use PDFill (its only $20)?

I use http://www.pdfescape.com/ in a pinch. I have acrobat at home and work, so not sure of other alternatives. PDFEscape runs on my tablet though, so it's really the only game for mobile editing.

i don't think a web app would work for me, the filesizes of some of these would make it a pain

pdfsam. I use it to combine pdfs. I assume it goes the other way. Works well and is free though.

I used this command on Ubuntu to combine pdf's. I think I had to install pdftk to get it to work.

>gs -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOUTPUTFILE=combinedpdf.pdf -dBATCH 1.pdf 2.pdf 3.pdf

pdfsam works great; nice, clean, simple, and doesn't take long to load. even throwing some pretty large files at it, it works better than the garbage software i had before.

are there any that can reliably convert pdfs to powerpoint? and by that i mean an actual powerpoint presentation, not just converting pdf slides to powerpoint slides in the same format. all the free ones i've seen only give you a max of 3 slides before they want you to buy it.

looking for the best PDF Annotation software? Hopefully free or at least a 30 day free trial would be nice.

Yes, but I use the free version which does everything you listed without watermarks or anything, but costs $0.
