Millions of American's are counting on you to pay for their foodstamps...

Today while buying a gatorade at the gas station, a mom was purchasing candy and cookies for her kid with Food Stamps. Beyond the concern of why food stamps pay for junk food like candy; she then proceeds to buy $20 in lottery tickets.

I am glad I pay my taxes to ensure needy lower class families can afford candy and their fair share of lottery tickets.

This one guy (employee's sister's boyfriend) I know filed for unemployment and he's getting $600/month for not working. Said he's not going to find a job until he uses all of it.

The kicker?

He filed for an extension and he was approved for unemployment for the next 10 years!

I worked at a grocery store that accepted EBT (food stamps) in high school...it used to piss me the fuck off to see what some people would buy on it. Lobster tail? Really???? I work my ass off and even I don't buy lobster tail. If I'm not gonna spend my money on that shit, what the fuck gives you the right to spend my money on that shit?!?!??!

i think i may have told this before but ill tell it again...

i cashiered at a grocery store in high school. and remember before ebt cards they had the actual food stamps?
well if someone bought a pack of gum and paid with a $1 food stamp we had to give them actual change back....like $.70 or whatever....we would have people come in muultiple times a day and buy 6-7 pack of gum and then use the change to buy 40s.
this was a regular occurrence.

i remember one time in particular where a woman did this by giving her kids $1 a piece in food stamps, had them each go through the line (there were 3), buy some candy, then give her the cash, and then she went and got the 40. grrrrrrrrrrrr

i know a teacher who gets on food stamps every summer when she's not being paid for being a teacher...


and she just had gastric bypass because she wants to look good for her wedding in May...


her insurance is paying for that in full since she's right at 100 pounds over weight...


but it's a good thing all that's happening since she just bought a house with her fiance

the winn-dixie i worked at would take some fried chicken boxes and refrigerate them and put a different label on them so they could be purchased with EBT. couldn't buy the hot chicken with EBT.
