Man...check ebay. You can narrow your search results down to mono amps only and things go cheap IMO. I got a Rockford P300-1 for about $50 shipped. Lots of quality ~300-500w amps with Buy It Now around $100.

Or did you mean like a bass guitar?

I got me a nice fat JBL amp for the stereo stuff sittin' down on the boat.

But I need me a bass amp to plug my bass gee-tar into so's I can jam out.

Like at least 100W, preferably 200W. We's talking enough power to be heard over my friend's pure-t whaling of his drums.

And everybody knows it's that rhythmic heavy bass that makes dem panties wet.

Spend like 200 on a vintage acoustic head on ebay then find some cheap cab on craigslist. You can get a cheap and light 4x10 for around 100 if you aren't super picky on condition. Our bassist got an acoustic 150 that sounds gnarly as fuck.

I've got a killer 60's Fender tube head that I haven't touched in years, but I really need to offer it back to the guy I got it from in high school. It's not very powerful anyway...60w iirc.

Yeah, but 60w in a tube head sounds nice and loud. For some reason tube heads sound louder than their solid state counterparts.

old Sunn heads and Acoustic heads sound way better than any tube head on the market right now. Would've reccomended a Sunn but they're harder to find and are notorious for breaking. A couple guys I know have 3-4 of them and take them to each show incase one breaks haha. Good thing they're only like $200 unless you get ripped off on ebay
