I love how no one realizes how scary angels are supposed to look. Every time it mentions that angels spoke to someone in the Bible, it says that the someone they spoke to were terrified. Most of them were even grossed out by seeing the angels.

If that kid saw an angel he would be talking more about the lion face that it has.


Also, I bet he said Jesus has long hair and is white with blue eyes.

I have a hard time believing this. Appendicitis is accompanied by terrible pain even without it bursting.

I also have a friend that was 22 when his burst and he fell out of bed crying like a little bitch.

Again, I think the parents underestimated the level of pain the 12 year old was having. Why do I think that? Because my mom did the same thing. I kept telling her I was experiencing awful, awful stomach pain, much worse than anything I've ever experienced, but she was convinced it was just a stomach bug (I was 23 and staying with my parents at the time). Ended up driving myself. If I were younger, no doubt it could have been worse. The girl's mom probably just "remembered" it differently to save face.

I'm totally willing to admit that you can have a burst appendix without awful pain if someone shows me a legitimate medical case/opinion vs. an anecdote.
