^^^^^"cis" here is short for "cisgender," used to indicate a gender identity in accordance with one's own assigned sex, from the Latin cis "to the same side"; it is the opposite of "trans" or "transgender," from the Latin trans "across"
Basically the vast majority of people, approximately 99.99%, are cis (at least if you don't accept the larger umbrella definition of "trans" that includes cross-dressers, androgynes, non-binary genderqueers, and the intersex, then you're down to 95% or so IIRC).

Both terms were inspired by their use in chemistry to differentiate certain types of isomers.

^^no, cis means that the doctor said you were a boy or a girl when you were born, and you were okay with that
Over 90% of cis people are straight, while only about 23% of trans people are (with respect to their gender identity or their birth sex; go to page 34 of the PDF, 28 in the original document), but gender identity and sexual orientation are separate classifications.

The term is just "gay"; if you were additionally assigned male at birth, then you are also cis, and if you were assigned female at birth but are now a dude, then you are trans, but the adjectives for sexual orientation and gender identity are never hyphenated together.
However some words can indicate both, like "translesbian" and "trannyfag" (the latter of which is an affectionate term that some gay trans men use for themselves; note that because gender identity is more fundamental, that adjective usually comes closer to the noun).
