So due to a lot of circumstances, I need to rehome my 2 cats. Does anyone know any good foster care facilities or adoption groups that take surrenders instead of just strays? No Kill is a MUST. They have fantastic personalities, no aggression, very affectionate, are spayed/neutered, and still have their claws intact.

Does anyone have any good suggestions?

And please refrain from the "Pets are a responsibility, you shouldn't have gotten them if you coudln't take care of them" blah blah...these are an ex's pets, which he abandoned, and I tried to do the right thing and take care of them, but it's just becoming too much on me financially/time/allergy.

This same thing happened to me. I had an ex leave a cat with me and I tried my best to take care of it, but I'm not really an animal person and so when I moved to my new place I didnt wanna take it with me. Luckily I did find someone on here who was willing to take her and hopefully it worked out well for the cat. Good luck I know that situation sucks

I can't fathom what kind of jerk leaves their pet behind when moving out of a place.

Same kind of person who moves out without paying up a month of bills?

I did get them microchipped...they're strictly indoor kitties.

The white one (male) is named "Lucky Puck"...he's ridiculously affectionate, talks a lot, is really athletic (he jumps HIGGHHH) and has an affinity for feathers, turkey, and eating insects.

The fuzzy one is Ms. Nezbitt(female). Very shy, but she likes to sleep next to your face at night and have you scratch her ass.

Neither scratch, hiss, bite, or show any aggression. Again, really sweet cats.

As far as I know, the SPCA will take voluntarily surrendered animals, but there is a huge waiting list.

You are best off putting the animal on sites like craigslist or petfinder and seeing if you can rehome them yourself.

Yeah, SPCA has a 4 month waiting list. Otherwise they suggested Wake County Animal Shelter...which is a kill shelter...and that is NOT an option.

Anyone want to take them? I'm up for person to person adoptions as well.

You can always let their vet office know to keep an eye out for people looking for a cat too.

I've never heard of a cat not litter box trained unless it had a urinary infection.
