We just got a ton of polyurethane running track samples at work that are textured suspiciously like rice crispy treats. I took a few and glued them together. Get a custom paint color and slip in with a plate of rice crispy treats in the office kitchen for everyone to enjoy

my wife worked in a dermatology office a couple years ago where all the girls would do this on a weekly basis. they used to fill each others desk drawers with packing peanuts, paper clips, etc. they also did the wrapping everything prank. another good one, not necessarily office prank, but one of the girls taped shredded paper looking streamers to the underside of my wifes car on the passenger side. of course she drove all the way home with it and didn't know until someone noticed it. they would also put signs on the passenger side that said ridiculous/self-incriminating things.

I've been sending messages out as the Novell admin that inappropriate network activity to lolcat sites has caused a suspension of their account. also did some hosts file stuff to redirect to certain sites for some people.

The printer trick worked like a charm.. one guy actually spoke to the printer n then totally denied falling for it! other people are going to the IT female in our office and complaining, why don't the voice commands work?! she was in splits today!
