I have an EIKI LC-X1 powerhouse projector in my possession but am not sure what to do with it.

I know they were worth a ton of money about 10 years ago, but not sure if it has any value now (does not have lens and not sure what works/what doesnt)? Insides seem to be in good condition....

Are there any stores around here that might be interested?

I doubt anybody is going to buy them. We have quite a few of these at work that are starting to go bad, and we are trying to get the lot replaced. The prisms begin to discolor and at that point its damn near cheaper to get a new projector.

No, these aren't worth anything. They have extremely low resolution output, the same power output as any base-model consumer projector and they weigh a ton.

You're better off recycling it. No one's going to pay a dime for them, because like ^ says, when they break, they get replaced not repaired.

You can replace that for like $400 these days. New + a 3 year warranty, and a free bulb!

Office Space can use it. Baseball bat not included.

Market is pretty saturated with cheap and reliable projectors now days. I've been waiting for 1080p projectors to get cheaper for the last few years. One of my friends had one and it was pretty sweet.

is it functioning at all? If it at least projects something, i'd be willing to look at it and pay a small amount for it if it will suffice. I'd just want it for projecting drawings onto much larger canvases.

A 10 year old projector is worth about as much as a 10 year old News and Observer.
