Rather have something localish that out of towners haven't had

You can try a locally owned Burger King franchise. They should still be running the spring break bikini brawl promotion.

if you hurry up, you can make it to Pam's before it closes at noon.

Ole Time BBQ on Chatham/Hillsborough/whatever it's called there is also a solid option.

Smokeys BBQ on Hwy 54 in Morrisville has excellent bbq and brisket
