They had a flash mob pillow fight in Asheville on Valentines Day. It was pretty awesome.

You must not have given it a chance. There are tons of good restaurants (yes, that serve good meat) and there is plenty to do downtown. There is a relatively new Barcade. 2 strip clubs that aren't bad (from what I've heard). A few hookah bars. Lots of good music. Amazing beer. The brew n view is always a good default. Every movie I have seen at the independent theater has been at least a 7/10.

So yeah, there is plenty of pretty awesome stuff in Asheville. Sure some of the people are flakey and strange. But that stopped bothering me when I turned 15.

I can't be a hippy because I hate the Disco Biscuits. In fact, all jamband music pisses me off. I also like bathing and smelling clean. And I eat meat. I did vote for Obama though, but I guess that makes me a terrorist more than anything.
