I'm looking for a 1961 starliner 4 speed.
and when i say that i'd like one with a straight body with a clutch pedal and a hole in the floor. It doesn't actually need an engine or a transmission... or even a rear end for that matter.
Otherwise a thunderbolt fairlane clone would be sweet too. 4/8/2011 9:02:32 AM |

Who buys a CRX HF, keeps it for 20 years in mint shape then sells it for $600?
Nobody. xoxo 4/8/2011 11:18:13 PM |

Isn't your Volvo always project car'ing itself?
I found THE PERFECT CAR FOR YOU: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/2314143398.html
Though that thing is probably already perfect and will never require any repairs so I guess it's not much of a project... 4/8/2011 11:29:38 PM |

How perfect, I'm keeping the (factory) roof rack. It attaches to the chassis only by the 8 bolts already in the chassis and doesn't leave a single mark anywhere. The bike carriers are Thule and swap into the Porsche factory racks just fine. 4/9/2011 12:31:58 AM |

I prefer the '60 Starliner. But that's just me. A '61 would be cool too.
In the "completely oddball cars that I like for no apparent reason" category, I will enter Mitsubishi Sigma. I've seen like 2 in the past five years on the road, and if one was for sale, I'd strongly consider.
[Edited on April 10, 2011 at 12:31 AM. Reason : Cordia qualifies too. As does the Starion/Chrysler Conquest, but they're not *that* rare.] 4/10/2011 12:30:47 AM |

'07 or '08 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 in black, blue, or silver. (not red) I can not find one locally. The one I did find, was three states away, and the guy wanted way too much. 4/12/2011 1:26:17 PM |

Looking for:
Half-ton series truck from Ford or GM 01-05 model year Extended cab Long bed 4x4 8cyl preferred <100k miles $9k or less Any color except maroon or other variation of purple....well, no mexican aftermarket bassboat glitter bullshit
Price and engine option are negotiable If it has off road package or towing package, that'd be great, but not a deal breaker.
