People on TWW tend to buy/sell their books to each other without a middleman. Why would a poor college student sell you their books for less than they're worth so you can turn around and sell them to another poor college student for more than they're worth?

Shame on you. Go peddle your middleman bullshit somewhere else and stop trying to make a quick dime off us.
