I disagree. Don't get me wrong, cats fucking suck ass, but dogs are so needy. At least like 20% of cats will fucking live in the shadows totally nonexistent to your world appearing only as the dead spiders and other critters that they leave in their wake. They are like ninjas.

There really is no argument. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that have great cats as well as there being some really shitty dogs. But overall, dogs > cats. And it's no secret that awkward, strange, socially inept people ([user]BubbleBobble[user]) prefer cats. To those people, thanks for your opinion, but you do not represent the average person.

I agree that dogs are better, however, my friend has A cat that was essentially raised by his two dogs and it plays fetch chases it's tail etc. Thinks it's a dog and it is awesome. I would take a cute quiet cat with dog mannerisms any day.

I like that I can leave my cats home alone for days at a time with zero consequences other than getting the evil eye from them once I return. Leaving my dog alone just while I'm at work results in a destroyed kitchen every day

Interesting. I've honestly never thought a cat was cute or cuddley after it outgrew being a kitten. Kittens are ok, but once it's a full-grown cat, it ceases being cute to me for some reason.

my mom has a pretty cool cat, it learned after several months of me visiting that i didnt want to have anything to do with it

eventually after realizing that i wasnt going to mess with it, the cat decided i was cool and would come and hang out with me

this should in no way be construed as a diss on BubbleBobble, but I am mostly definitely strange, awkward and socially inept, and I have always preferred cats to dogs

dogs are too happy-go-lucky and carefree...they don't jive with my unsure, self-questioning, generally depressed personality

Cats are better. If you put them outside they will get rid of all the moles that dig tunnels in the yard and eat the grass. They also aren't as annoying either. My sister's dog won't quit barking from the time it wakes up till the time it goes to sleep. Dogs also like to piss people off by shitting on their property. Cats do this too sometimes, but at least they are nice enough to dig a hole and cover it up.

^It's a mini yorkie. The small dogs that all of my friends and family own seem to be more hyper than the big dogs, thus they bark a lot more.
