But i found this guy floaing down the river, looked like a leaf like all the other leaves and detritus floating down the river but for some reason i picked it up...


and it came alive!



I had to google it to figure out what it was, but does anyone know what it is off the dome??

I've definitely seen them before, but I assumed they were just some sort of leaf bug

holy handgrenade for a minute i thought that thing on the bottom right was some crazy alien-implant totem rising from the river bottom to dine upon your fear but it turns out it's just the riverbank and its reflection

i didnt know if acid would squirt out or some shit if i penetrated it with a hook (pause)

there are insects that do that, but I thought he was cool enough to turn loose

it was pretty squishy, i would imagine its not exposed to fish too often so they probably wouldnt recognize it as food, its real flat so i figure it crawls between large rocks all day

plus it looks like bark with its legs tucked in floating in the current
