When you slice yourself or someone else with a knife it's quite common for the bleeding to take a moment to begin. Every time I've accidentally been cut the blade has been clean. I think the flesh actually serves to wipe it off a bit too, depending upon where you're cut.

The folks in here claiming it wasn't that knife are just making a judgment based on movie "knowledge" in my opinion. Sure, if you kill someone with a knife it will probably get bloody, but if you just make a single, quick, relatively small accidental cut it's pretty normal for it to pass right through before any real bleeding starts.

Plus, the forum this photo came from is a highly respectable place. You can't just join it, you have to submit an application which is accepted only if you provide a real email address. Real meaning paid, business or school. It can't be a gmail or yahoo address. You are held accountable on this site. Trolling and bullshit is not tolerated and the community is tightly knit. People don't come on there and lie, particularly about a major mistake they made. A really sharp knife will cut you without getting any blood on the knife man. It's just not that unusual. It's happened to me numerous times with x-actos and other knives throughout my life.

This person was just showing that they had fucked up really badly. Being a knife nut, it also wouldn't surprise me if he wiped the blade down immediately if there had been any blood on it to prevent discoloration or rusting of the blade on his Emerson CQC-7, lol. I can't deny the possibility that it is a lie, as that possibility pretty much always exists, but the likelihood is extremely low given the level of integrity of the people involved.

^makes sense- when I've been bit by animals, the bleeding doesn't immediately start- I can usually look at it right away and tell if it will be nothing or if it is gonna be a bleeder, but it is not like the animals mouth took away blood

Exactly, same thing with getting scratched really bad by a cat or something. When I've been scratched, the cat (Or whatever other animal) never seemed to have any blood on its claws. The bleeding takes a moment to start.

I think Hollywood has probably had too much of an effect on these people.
