Sat at the bar.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of sitting down next to an intoxicated, 48ish year old, woman who was going through a bitter divorce. Despite having to endure my meal with this woman stuttering, unintentionally loud, lady complaining about how I'm not listening to her and how I "just don't understand", I managed to finish. I saw this woman scaring the living shit out of little kids that happened to walk by. 30 minutes prior to me leaving, I witnessed another couple who this lady badgered to death with her drunk ramblings promise to give her a ride home....they left and never came back. Everyone in that restaurant knew they weren't coming back, except el-drunk-o.

Upon settling my bill, I felt the need to 1) keep this drunk-ass off the road and 2) be a decent human being, so I offered to give this lady a lift back home. My offer was only met with a refusal, and the explanation "but you're a man....".

My response.... "I am aware of this".

Moral of the story: I really need to sit down and re-evaluate my life and my image if a staggering drunk, middle age, soon-to-be-divorced woman thinks that my goal is to take her sloppy ass home and take advantage of her while she's intoxicated.

she tried BEYOND desperately to by my sugar momma years back when i bartended there

got to the point that i couldnt be nice/cool/professional anymore and straight up told her i found her unattractive and that i flirt for a living

she cried a lot and things were pretty awkward after that
