i'm surprised no one has jumped on this...i'm far from technical, but it seems like it might be a blown [insert relatively easy-to-replace component here]

i would take it, as it would be a lot better than what i've got if it were easy to fix, but i wouldn't know where to start

my guess is that it's a blown cap


I'd take it, but I don't need more broken electronic equipment that i dont have time to fix.
