What are some stuff I can do to it besides...get rid of it, get a Chevy, get a truck, get a jeep, and so on so on with obvious answers that do not answer the question at hand...

5.4L 3V SOHC flex-fuel V8 engine
4x2(They didnt have 4x4, and I had a 4x4 for 4 years and never once used it, so i figured I would skip it this time)

The only thing I have done to it is put leather seats in it...I HATE clothes seats, so hate all you want.

Right now I have a stick to the window Garmin for a GPS, so if you have any suggestions for changing out the front console, im game. It currently has the Microsoft Sync system and Sirius Sattelite radio...

I know what a trail brake controller is, but i am not sure what a scarab is...

google said it is odd 3 wheeled vehicle or a beetle(insect)

a boat is an option, have always wanted one...but i live in the NW...water is cold and summer is short

Ragged your poor taste never ceases to amaze me. A scarab is a wellcraft pos off shore speed boat. Its pretty much the only boat in it's class you could actually kick a hole through the hull if you were to try.

Donzi, fountain, baja, why not a good brand?

I rented a new one for towing last month, averaged about 7mpg on the highway.

Out of curiosity was it a gift or something?

[Edited on May 10, 2011 at 10:46 PM. Reason : It did tow a 6k lbs load like it wasn't there though, rather impressive, just not my thing. ]

@sumfoo1...donzi, fountain, baja?

@tchenku...that is at my house in NC, I live in WA right now, so no point.

@Ahmet, TKE...no, got tired of my '04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland...Tahoes were ridiculously overpriced, F-250/350 was expensive as well, so just went with a big SUV and I didnt need the 4x4 version for like 2k more or something like that...

@dude...[NO]

Umm yeah, the question is, WHY do you need such a big SUV?

Get 24 26 inch rims with 305/30s.

If you had a Grand Cherokee Overland, then you used 4x4 every single time you drove it.

-Install a train horn
-Buy a Fiesta as an escape pod.
-Take the 3rd row out, put in a Starbucks
-Special order some extra-small codoms

Your vehicle is extremely large.

who cares how large it is? Maybe he has a big family or need the towing capacity?

Ever tow something with too small of a vehicle? It will make you crap your pants.

Thank you Sumfoo1, i just wanted to see what some peoples on here would come up with.

I do not understand the big deal with having a big vehicle? I HATE HATE HATE small vehicles...

Lumex, deff not compensating.

Tawaitt, I did not know that. Thank you. I am not a car expert by any means. I rolled it anyways, it was time for something new anyways.

I cannot have truck nuts because of where I work, it would be considered derogatory towards females.

looks like it's already tinted
looks nice with the factory wheels
imo, wouldn't want to raise/lower it

does it have HID headlamps? how about an HID retrofit project?
upgrade the speakers

I have run into an issue where a lot of the gas stations up here (WA) have a $75 limit on gas, so i always have to pump my gas "twice"...its around 100-105 to fill her up...

you like the factory rims? i was looking at something like this the other day but i am trying to avoid the urban gangster white boy or the my daddy didnt have enough time to spend with me so he bought me stuff look...

oh i never thought about HID lights, i do not believe it has HID lights, i would have to check...I will look into that.

What about dual exhaust? how much would that run me? i saw a 2009 the other day at work with it and it sounded pretty sweet.

google it

it makes the vehicle more aerodynamic and will probably net you about 3 or 4 mpg

Talk about buying the wrong vehicle at the wrong time. This would've been cool a decade ago when there was a tax loop for this kinda thing.

What's disturbing is that you have to try to avoid being that. I guess this must be pretty common for ECU people?

why not upgrade the thing with a supercharge kit of some sorts, and source some of those big black steelies like cops run on their crown vics (16/17's???), and have a sort of new hot-rod-esque ride.

or something like this

put some 26's on it. Remove the third row seat and get 6 12's. That truck has potential

my two favorite suggestions thus far:
Quote :
"-Buy a Fiesta as an escape pod.
-Take the 3rd row out, put in a Starbucks"

and yeah, whats the point in owning this vehicle if you don't have a family and/or shit to tow? reminds me of all the stay at home moms cruising around in their land yachts.

also isn't it going to be a pain to drive around in the winter up there?

^^people are curious why you choose to drive around all the time in a vehicle that is:

-oversized
-hard to park
-handles poorly
-gets horrible gas mileage

You could buy my speakers I have for sale:

Two 12"s would sound great in there.

@Air...sure, I have no idea about these stereotypes.

@TKE...

-my money
-if you suck at driving sure, i only have problems when trying to fit it in small places or when other people cant park
-im not racing it or trying to driving it through cones or anything
-who cares about gas mileage, i knew that when i bought it

@neo...im not local, sorry!

@ncstateccc....i have seen that sticker up here ALOT....i guess it comes from living only 2 hrs from Forks, WA.

It WAS your money. Now it's going to be FORD and gas companies' $$$.

I don't see the point of this vehicle, nor the point of modifying something for the sake of modifying it (in fact I'm rather against that), but I'm more than sure that I do things that you wouldn't agree with, so, enjoy your vehicle sir!

yea, i suppose that would be a correct statement.

but i think right now im just going to do the HID lamps, new cd/dvd/nav set up for now...

ive seen plenty of people jack their trucks up, chrome rims, brush guards back in NC...

by the way,

an HID retrofit is not one of those $50 ebay kits where you merely replace your halogen bulbs with xenons and add some hardware. being such a nice car, you'd probably want to go the harder route cutting/installing/epoxying real HID projectors into those headlight housings.
