That was a backdoor abuse of the Facebook status feed. The nuke hit so many accounts within five minutes (would have been in the hundreds of thousands) that the name Nicole Santos instantly trended on Twitter.

Was pretty fucking epic. Facebook's repair time was even more epic.

Facebook nuke that just hit a ton of people. Your news feed pops up with a message from a member saying "I hate you, fuck you blah blah something like this. Vote for Nicole Santos. You can only get rid of this by blocking it below." In the blue status bar below the feed where it says "comment, like, remove" it says "remove this app". If you click that, it'll forward it to your whole news feed, et cetera.

Facebook jumped on it pretty quickly but not before it spread like the plague.
