If a ghost had ghost clothing....and then removed said item of clothing and left it in location and then disappeared.

Would detached separate apparition be there? Like, can you have a ghost hat left behind on your hat rack just sitting there until the ghost comes back to get it?

i have a problem with all these ghost hunter etc. type shows. if there has been an established method of proving that ghosts exist, then i would believe them. but they just say like "ooooh look an orb!" or "oh shit that rocking chair started rocking!"

i just think it's all foolishness until someone tells me they can empirically prove ghosts exist

My mother, grandmother, aunt and uncle were driving down highway 17 along the coast last year when they came upon a handful of cars stopped in the road. Everyone was out on the street and looking to the treeline. They got out as well, and watched an extremely bright and massive object hovering over the trees (it was right at nightfall). Apparently it produced no sound. They say it quickly elevated 30 or 40 feet, moved side to side for a moment, and then went back behind the treeline. They said the lights on the object were so bright that in spite of the fact it moved from view, the entire forest was lit up as if littered with flood lights.

I imagine it was an military helicopter, etc., but it still would have been a chilling experience.

^Ha. I had something similar happen to me a long time ago. There was something hovering in the area where 64 crosses Jordan Lake - it had lights all over and didn't make any noise. I even stopped my car and got out to at it.

I still remember that, but I also remember I was driving about an hour one way to get to high school and was getting about 4 to 5 hours sleep per night at the time, so I've chalked it up to a sleep deprived hallucination.

I've found aliens very fascinating ever since I did a report on ancient aliens in like 7th grade. Dan Akroyd had a documentary made where he talked about aliens for like 2 hours.
