Rex 84 homies..... Actually when I was born my mom went to the hospital and was immediately put into a room...no wait.
My parents thought it was awkward but brushed it off bc well...they were having a kid. I was born on the 14th and taken home on like the 15th or 16th.
A week later my parents got a call... A carol lubbers had reserved a room there and my mom had taken it on accident (her name is Carla), and she had to wait a few hours to get a room. Aha.
A couple years ago- I met the boy who's hospital room I had taken.bit was really cool to hear that he had been told the same story his whole life but from he other side .....

That's my lil story

Hell yeah I do. My dad was in grad school for Horticulture and worked in the labs/greenhouse behind Kilgore and at the Arboretum in the 1980s. We'd get Brothers Pizza every Friday or Saturday night or if we didn't do that, we'd go to North Hills and eat at the K&W.

God, I remember when he finally finished up school and we almost moved to Valdosta, GA (he had a teaching offer from Valdosta State). I'm so glad we stayed, looking back.

What yall know about Christmas with JC Ralston.

I didn't go to a Raleigh high school though, so I never really identified with the other kids that went to Raleigh or Cary schools (Garner Senior, what a shithole).

Baton Rouge WOmen's Hospital '77. But my family is from NC, and we moved back to Raleigh shortly after I was born. '78 I think.

I made the trip back up laying on a blanket in the back of the family station wagon.

Aside from attending State, I've been in North Raleigh ever since.
