Joie, I also lost a toenail recently. If I don't cut my nails as close as possible before long runs, they get bruised and sometimes fall off.

I dont get pedicures because I think the nail lady might judge me for my weird thick toe nails

hahaha...I def don't take offense. I am not a fan of the bright white look that is why I choose that beige tip. I guess I try to get them as close to natural looking as possible. Nail polish usually ruins my thin toenails so I don't even get pedys that often.

If you ever get acrylics for your fingernails, though, you'd love Pearl tips. They're so light and pearlized.. very purdy.

I am so bad with this. I seriously cannot contain myself. I just learned about something way worse though.. my boyfriend told me that his sister and her husband went to Thailand. There are these foot spas with little fish that nibble the dead skin off of your feet.. it's supposed to be relaxing and invigorating but they didn't even last more than a minute:

I know nothing about the upkeep and the sanitation aspect but I know I'd never do ^^ voluntarily.

The bottoms of my feet are the most ticklish parts of my body.

I still love pedicures though and try to get through them as calmly as possible.

I've had a partial pedicure before. I was part of a photoshoot in Chicago for an online retailer. I was a "shorts guy" so they photographed my waist down. I was wearing flip flops in the shoot so they had someone trim and buff my toenails. They also did leg hair management.

I wasn't a fan of either.

When you go do they beat your legs? My one and only pedicure, this woman started out so right then all of a sudden she started pounding open handed, up and down my lower legs with all that she could!

She said it was for blood circulation. I had bruises.

No more pedicures for me
