reading stuff in media about anthony weiner posting lewd pics biting him in the ass, revolution in middle east which took roots online, tdub controversies & victories etc make me wonder how much POWAH does interwebs have over you IRL?

My gross-out tolerance is much bigger thanks to TWW. Takes a lot more to shock me.

Had it not been for AIM, my husband and I may not have made it long enough to get married. It got us through some long distance periods and helped us talk out some difficult problems a little more objectively.

Also, not caring so much about assholes, bitches, and gossip is definitely a bene of using TWW.

i think my overall self-image is worse than it normally would have been. people who i have interacted with online (mainly through tww) are generally very open and unapologetic in regards to how ugly and/or fat they think a person is.

I've made a lot of friends that crossed over to tangible real life friendships, and a lot that didn't. I have also wasted extraordinary amounts of time.

it's also (this site particularly) has made me more witty in day to day life.
AND as weird as it sounds, i think i've become a little more intelligent because of reading so many different viewpoints.

i like it

Its got me laid a whole lot. Met whores from BBSs, AOL and then on the real net. 20 years of banging internet sloots.

Most good and bad has been based on vag.

2 TWW chicks I was messing with at the same time met in person, that ended poorly for me.

it allows me to keep in touch with my Raleigh friends even though it's hard to make it up there. I still feel somewhat in the loop.

I haven't had too much bite me in the ass thankfully. My friends do laugh about how much internet pop culture and stuff i know and it's mostly due to TWW and other random sites. I just tell them not to worry, i'm from the internet.

^not really. They took it well. They basically knew about each other, but being all in the same place at the same time made it odd. It really just ended up with me having no more fun.

The web has overall made me a more confident person. I would never have hit on a lot of the girls I had if I just saw them out prior to talking to them online. Then all that success turned to confidence which poured over into the real world.

It's made me appreciate how people really think like a team building exercise where everyone writes down their secret thoughts in the guise of anonymity.

After years of research, I've concluded...y'all stupid!
