I work in an environment where in many cases activeX controls are banned. Any idea how to find the control and independently install it?

Case in point, we have a security camera system in a remote office we want to monitor. I go to it and it wants to install DVROcxEx.cab but since its a cheap shitty crappy dvr, it won't install due to unsinged active x control.

Now, simple solution just change the security setting, problem is they are locked down via domain policy, and I don't feel like having to unroll and delve though a 15 setting checklist every time i run into one of these things.

So what Do I do? How can I manually grab that cab file?

can you have an admin run it with their credentials and bypass the security?
