Ever notice how you can see bruises better in the shower...or you discover bruises that you didn't previously know you had while you're in the shower.

Someone tell me why this is the case...google isn't given me a good answer, and this has been something that has made me curious just about everytime I take a shower for the past 20 some years. I'm just now getting around to trying to find out why.

Well no...I'm wearing shorts right now...looking at my knee...I see no bruise on my knee...but this morning when I took a shower there was a big purple bruise on it...before I took the shower...no bruise.

bruises are internal bleeding due to damaged blood vessels

when your skin goes from relatively cool to hot in a sudden, the damaged vessels constrict and the loose blood in the interstitial tissue consolidates and rises to "skin level"

^Most of my bruises are not from drinking...most are from the fact that regardless of how much I've had to drink I am clumsy and I bump into things or trip and I bruise relatively easily.

Honestly...that's why I don't know how I've gotten half of my bruises...I bruise so easily that I could hit something and not even think about it and then the next day have a bruise and be absolutely clueless as to how or when I got it.


^Haha well I do have bruises from drunkness...but those are the ones that I know exactly how I got them...cause I very much remember losing that fight with the road..

When bwning in the shower it is normal to get bruises. Only bwn on a soft king size bed. This will stop shower bruising.
