I actually took about 500 pictures so I had to be selective in what I shared somehow. I did take some more of Atlantic Beach, but with it being covered with cigarette butts, litter, and tons of tourists it just wasn't nearly as photogenic.

Congrats! It seems like a great place for it. According to wikipedia ... "Ocracoke was named America's Best Beach for 2007 by Dr. Stephen Leatherman, a professor of coastal ecology at Florida International University who compiles his annual list under the moniker "Dr. Beach". The museum's Blackbeard exhibit (the one in Beaufort, not the exhibit at Teach's Hole on Ocracoke) with the recovered stuff from the ship wreckage said the artifacts were being processed and examined at the ECU Queen Anne's Revenge Conservation Laboratory, which has to be the best name for a lab ever.
