Big Fat Sac needs to show up and fix this shit. Sound like something's not plugged in solidly, signal keeps dropping out. Been that way all day.

signal has been weak for quite a while on top of when it disappeared completely a couple times in th past 48 hours

I wouldn't plan on it (the broadcast) being fixed today. It appears to be back online, though.

The station was originally scheduled to be down on Friday for about 7 hours for maintenance. From what I understand, there was a completely unrelated problem that happened Saturday morning, which led to this mess. It got fixed (sort of - the engineer said he bypassed the thing that wasn't working, but it was still fuzzy on the radio), and then there was a power outage at Witherspoon last night.

Most of the engineers are either out of town, or have some other conflict. As far as I know/have seen, there's only been one around this weekend.

I'm not sure what the current problem is, but the maintenance we were supposed to be down for involved a piece of the actual transmitter on top of DH Hill, so it wasn't exactly an easy fix. What is going on now, though, I have clue.
