I had church's once and it was gross. I was hoping there's be some die hard church's fans that could tell me why their chicken is better than the others and what they see in it that they'd rather have it than bojangles.

honestly - the best fried chicken i ever had was at a wedding a few weekends ago. how good was it? so good, i'm pretty sure i've already mentioned it on here more than once.

Is this only fried chicken? Judging from the typical TWW's disposition toward all things greasy and saturated, I'd assume so. For the cultured few among you, Genaro's and Clucker's in Charlotte make a mean bird as well.

There's this place in Wake Forest that -- I shit you not -- is called Bobo's Chicken. I want to check them out, but it seems like I'm always missing their hours.

Also, Dame's Almost World Famous Chicken and Waffles in Durham is pretty good as is the chicken and waffles at Star Bar in Raleigh.

Man, I definitely appreciated moving to Raleigh. The roads aren't perfect, but I definitely felt less pressure from traffic, debris, and construction.

The funny thing is that all three of those things sort of reinforce one another. Construction creating debris and traffic and so on.

That place in Charlotte that is always packed and was on Food Network is way overrated IMO.

Zaxby's is so overrated. I feel like for the amount of money one spends there, you could get a high quality meal at a local joint. Also, places that use Zs in place of Ss piss me off

When on their menu, the fried chicken at Poole's is orgasmic. I heard she's opening a new restaurant on Wilmington Street that will feature her fried chicken!!
