I have 4 x 4GB sticks of RAM, brand new and unopened. Bought from Newegg; manufacturing date 2011 April. I bought the wrong stuff because I still have an old box running DDR2 and I'm an idiot impulse SlickDeal'er. Restocking and sending back would have cost more than it was worth so I was hoping to at least lose less.
Ordered on 26 April 2011 for $127.48. I'm looking for $100 OBO and can meet up in the RDU area.
Specs: G Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 CL9-9-24 1.5v

^^^ according to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314&cm_re=F3-12800CL9D-_-20-231-314-_-Product it's dual channel. that's the exact model that these are.
the listing is for a double pack of the RAM for $75; for clarity, i'm selling two of these packs.. so these together retail at ~$150 + shipping
of course, there are several deals going on for RAM... so like i said in the OP i just want to cut losses so i'm not looking to make a profit off these (unless someone just wanted to give me extra, which i'd be fine with too)

I really wish I could buy them now. They'd go perfectly with my desired upgrade build. But swimming with dolphins at Sea World > RAM, currently. 7/14/2011 12:15:07 PM |

i seriously considered building a new rig just because of buying these but i had to tell myself no. unfortunately my processor is an LGA-775 socket and the market for DDR3-compatible mobo's for the 775 is dang near dead.. so i was pretty much going to be out at least $250-300 to get a new mobo+processor.
^ if you end up wanting them, just let me know
