I'm a soon-to-be grad student moving to the area in a few days and have worked in IT for 4 years. I can work with either Macintosh or Windows systems, and can perform any maintenance from replacing hardware, to upgrading devices, to getting rid of viruses and/or malware.
I'll look at your computer for free to diagnose the problem. Below is a brief outline of how much I charge for each service:
1) Spyware/Adware/Virus Removal - $40 2) System Format - $40 + cost of new operating system (if applicable) 3) RAM Upgrade - $20 + cost of hardware 4) Hard Drive Replacement - $30 + cost of hard drive + cost of operating system (if applicable) 5) Installation of BootCamp (for Mac users only) - $15 + cost of Windows OS 6) Installation of Parallels (for Mac users only) - $15 + cost of Windows OS 7) Configure Home Network - $25 8) Configure Domain/Host/DNS Settings for Your Website - $50 9) Full Website or Server Administration - Price varies, PM me 10) Custom Desktop Build - $100 + price of all parts (PM for more details, my builds are always very good.
Send me a PM if interested. Thanks for looking!

Does that hard drive replacement cost count for laptops to?
and why does reformat a computer cost the same as virus removal? That’s ridiculous... 7/3/2011 11:16:42 AM |

First Question: Yes.
Second Question: How come? Virus removal and formatting/reinstalling take roughly the same amount of time and the same amount of know-how if both are done correctly. 7/3/2011 12:45:32 PM |
