1) Bleacher Report sucks. Anyone who cites it as a legitimate source needs to be drawn and quartered. But it's OK for fun stuff like this.

2) This is supposed to be an all-time list. Hard to argue with Ty Cobb being #1. He was one of the worst human beings in earth history. One of the top five players ever, though.

3) Bill Romanowski? He probably isn't even in the Top 50 all-time. If a casual sports fan doesn't know who Ty Cobb is (and I agree with... was it JB?... whoever said that most casual sports fans would know who he is) they sure as shit don't know who Romanowski was.

I think it depends on which sports you like. I know Cobb and Romo but didn't know that Cobb sucked at life outside of baseball while realizing the rep that Romo had. This is probably because baseball sucks to me.

I looked to see the highest rated one that I liked, and it's #19, Bill Laimbeer. Fuck the haters. Teams need a goon to go after the stars, especially since the refs usually give stars preferential treatment. Rambis is in the same category. Of course, their role is the role I had on every bball team I ever played on. Get rebounds, give fouls, get people angry, be a heel wrestler.

Would have been #15 for the Roanoke connection but that was sort of a unnecessary dick thing Tiki did.

And every reason why Reggie Miller is hated is why I love Reggie Miller.
