So my brother is getting married in Kauai. Wanted to know if any of you have been there and any ideas you have for stuff to do. Also if you can think of any good places to go or things to do for a bachelor party that would be nice too. I appreciate it. 7/3/2011 12:14:45 AM |

a few people on here went to kauai for their honeymoon - did a quick search and turned up these threads but haven't gone through them

when we went on a cruise out there we did a zip line tour that was pretty fun. lasted about 4 hours and you get to see the hill where indiana jones ran down in raiders of the lost ark 7/3/2011 11:20:45 AM |

All of these were penned by me, and highly recommended. Have fun!

bachelor party? kauai?
you'll have to get creative but there isn't really a bar scene. it's a very rural, quiet island
what part of the island will you be on? i've been to waimea twice and i would recommend taking a zodiac boat tour to the na pali coast, hiking the na pali coast (if you can), go to tunnels beach and go to polihale state park beach.
if you're willing to drop a little coin, the helicopter tour is incredible and really a nice way to see the island's beauty
everything you read will recommend a 4x4 vehicle to get out there. i would too-- we went there twice, both times in an suv and one time we had no problems and the second time we had a flat. some people try their luck in sedans but we also helped some people stuck in the sand who were driving a mustang.
really a gorgeous place. i loved it! 7/3/2011 7:47:27 PM |

^ I just moved from Oahu a few months ago, I went to Kauai a few times. Pretty much everything NCSUWolfy said is spot on. Helicopter tour is super worth it. There's really no Bar Scene or place for a bachelor party.. go to Waikiki for a night.. the inter island flights are pretty cheep. (like $75-100 round trip) 7/4/2011 10:25:37 PM |
