I wouldn't give people tickets for driving fast but i would give wreckless endangerment every time some dumbass was driving too fast making poor un-indicated lane changes.


I would also ticket everyone who drives completely over the white line you're supposed to stop at with running a red light.

I'm just wondering what sort of experiences you two have had with police officers?

In my experience the crimes you want them to protect you from they usually fail at.
i know personally of a murder that they had no idea who did it
and at least a dozen unsolved B&E cases...

however if you walk down the street with a beer in your hand (and don't look like a bum)... they're all over that shit...

Not to mention all the kids i knew in highschool that are now cops... should have been arrested in highschool.

I'm sure most college liberals would prefer to fend for themselves....



I also think there should be a "he deserved it law" where you can punch someone without it being assault because "he Deserved it"

I don't know why you guys have so much beef with people that don't use turn signals...

The only thing I've seen people do with turn signal is leave them on by accident while they're driving.

Otherwise, I just stay out of people's blind spots so they can see me; I watch the distance between their tires and the white line: if they get too close to the white line, speed up or slow down or beep if you are left with no room to speed up or slow down which is a dangerous situation because it means you are tailgating in the first place.

I would be the most horrible cop ever. I hate to run......if someone ran I would not chase them. If they ran from a car I stopped I would just have the car towed as an abandoned vehicle and not report anything else.

I think weed should be legal.

I think vehicle registrations should be permanent (not annual) and are just a bullshit way that people are taxed for owning a vehicle. There is a computer in every cop car now, there is no reason they can not just use that to check if there is a problem with the vehicle tags.

I do not give a shit about car inspections, pretty much every vehicle I have ever owned has had inspection lapses.

I think on most roadways speed limits are just a way to protect us form the idiots that can not drive, not actually an offense by themselves.

I think if someone is walking down the street drinking a beer they should not be harassed.

If someone was driving like a dumbass I would probably just pull them over and yell at them and let them go so I would not have to do paperwork or appear in court.

I am way too lazy to be a cop.

Because some roads have more than two lanes and when some jackass two lanes over merges into the lane you're moving into without signaling it can cause an accident. Between Capital Blvd and I-40 I usually have someone do this to me at least once per week and I'm tired of having to look out for all the other fucking idiots on the road.

on a section of 40 where it is 3 lanes in each direction, and I pass a car in the left lane, but someone speeding wants to pass faster decides to pass in the right lane? instead of waiting to pass me when I get over? how is that my fault? and how is that possibly justifiable? if you want to speed, wait for the road to open up. If someone is riding in the far left lane going the speed limit for more than half a mile, when he has space to get over, yes, I can see passing. but moving all the way over to the right lane to do it faster? no

Huge pet peeve of mine. Especially downtown where a few are much further back than normal so that buses can make right turns. I always see idiots pull as far forward as they can without entering the intersection on then look completely flabbergasted when they almost get hit by a turning bus.
