Inspired by the disc golf thread...

I'm trying to get out and play a round of golf at least once a week so that my game will improve, and I'm looking to find additional people to play with. I currently only have a few friends that actively play, and they work different schedules than me. I'm available to play on Friday afternoons and anytime Saturday/Sunday most weeks. If you're interested in hitting up a course, let me know.

I'd normally be 7-10 rounds played by the 2nd week of July....I've only played 2 rounds so far this season.

I screwed up my travel schedules over the holiday weekend and had to bail on the opportunity to play Lonnie Poole last sunday. I'm hoping to make up for it by playing several rounds down in Pinehurst in August.

I haven't played in about 3 years because I haven't had time, but I would like to go to Knights Play some night just to get warmed up. I was never good anyway.

I'm up for going to knight's play on the weekends. It's great for working on your short game, even if the greens are worthless.

We only play every couple weeks, but there's usually a discount and its pretty good times. You could use it to supplement any other golf outings you schedule. Ranges from guys who shoot in the 70s to 100+. Mostly older dudes, but there all pretty cool. Could still use some younger guys in their 30s.

I have my own set of clubs and approximately 1 month of lifetime play (i'm terrible) but if there are other crappy golfers that are mainly interested in learning while drinking and driving around on the cart let me know so we can do this. Almost all my experience is at Knight's play which is a pretty easy 3par 27hole course w/driving range and night play. I'm not good enough to play any real courses (tried one in cary and i sucked bad)

If lurkers are allowed to join in on the golfing festivities...this guy wants to play some golf! I go to Knight's Play about once a week in the evening (yay lighted course) and can play most any Saturday or Sunday.

Heading to play in Wilmington this weekend, so won't be around if you guys meet up Saturday, but I'll definitely check back here for next time!

Good luck getting a tee time at egale ridge lol.

Played there last friday morning...took 5 hours and 20 mins for a twosome. Fairways are cut too short so it's like hitting your irons off the green.

we'll see. I'm playing with a superintendent from another golf course, so we usually get stopped a couple of times by groundskeepers and whatnot just to chat anyway.

I bought a set of clubs on Sunday. Didn't realize finding left handed women's clubs would be so difficult but I was getting frustrated with having to use men's or kid's left handed clubs when I went to the driving range
