and yes, this was in my presentation.

My thesis was on Travel Time Reliability on Freeways. Each of my committee members are leads or subs on multi-million $ federal research on reliability so it was very affirming to get an "unconditional" pass.

Now I'm headed to the University of Florida in August for my PhD on a full President's Fellowship.

^^Your car could tell you that your arrival time will be X% more reliable or Y% earlier if you leave 5 min earlier or 5 min later, but hopefully we will have solved the trip inflation problem by that point. I foresee a huge percentage of telecommuters by the time autonomous vehicles are widespread.

Good job. I got lucky on mine, none of my professors knew shit about my area so they didnt even know what to ask. Mine was on pedestrian planning, design, and policies and they were all hardcore old school highway/signal guys.

Now, Schindlrsfist got screwed. His used Synchro and the guy that created Synchro was on his panel... I was out in 30 min, I think he was in there for 4 hours
