Cary walmart is 100% creepy. With two targets so close, I never go there unless I need auto stuff after the auto parts stores close. Walked up to the register once with 3 gallons of transmission fluid and they asked how it was going? It's almost midnight and you see three gallons of cheap transmission fluid. Guess.

My last late night experience there was almost 2 years ago, thankfully.

^No doubt it's a nice store, but at 3am there's a bunch of sketchy people sitting out in their cars talking on cell phones with the engine running. I'd say 5-10 people on any given weeknight is a fair average.

funny how walmart shut down all the real employers and then moves away from 24 hours with unemployment at 10%. If they had any decency they would stay open 24 hours and keep enough people working. So greedy.

It costs a shitton of money to stay open 24 hrs, and Wal-mart's not a charity. The profits often don't justify a 24 hour store, especially in a town that, for all intents and purposes, shuts down at 9pm.

I remember going there close to midnight about two years ago. I believe the closed shortly after I got there.

Also, that Walmart is currently under construction. Stuff is a bit harder to find and they don't have other things. They've also got a strange traffic pattern in the parking lot, but that parking lot is so stupid people generally made up their own rules/lanes as they went anyway.

I assume they are trying to turn it into a Super Walmart - or whatever they call the kind that has a truncated grocery store inside.
