from what i've seen from her and other peace grads, there is a strong sense of family, school pride, tradition, etc.... and it just hurts her (and other grads) to see everything change since the new lady took over and is changing everything

From what I've seen online, a lot of Peace alumni are upset because they found out via WRAL press release vs. an announcement for the alumni first.

I think part of the problem is that Peace no longer fills any sort of niche in the area. I guess with the competition from Meredith, it wasn't filling much of a niche anymore, but now it gets to compete against EVERY other school in the triangle, and I'm not sure it's up against that (and there are about a dozen of those).

I took at class at Peace College one summer because it wasn't being offered at State. The girls in my class were so incredibly stupid that I actually double-checked to make sure I wasn't in some remedial/special ed class.CassTheSass also had the same sentiment when she took a class there. Peace College was seemingly a containment area for dumb girls. Admitting men is now going to allow these women to find partners and mate more readily, thus contributing to the downfall of society. Idiocracy here we come.

HAHHAHAHAHHAH this thread reminded me that i did in fact pay for a summer school class (hello biology) there. don't get me wrong, the girls were super nice and it was great being in a class of 7 people but my lab partner informed me that she was a 24 year old junior seeking a psychology degree. i asked her if she had started college later (since she was older) and she told me "no she had failed so many classes that's why she was still in school" and that this was the "third time she was taking biology so she was hoping we'd make a good lab partner team so she could pass the class finally."
