Curtis Media and Capitol Broadcasting have allegedly been preventing ClearChannel (specifically G105) from getting interviews. The last time this happened was when Scotty McCreery came home from LA to do his "hometown week".

Some of the backstory: Years ago, Bob convinced a couple to go into the WRAL radio station bathroom, have sex, and then come out and proclaim it to the entire radio station. Since then, there is no love lost between Jim Goodman and Bob Dumas.

So tonight is the American Idol concert at the RBC Center. Bob's oldest daughter is supposed to be interviewing Scotty McCreery because one of the other DJ's pulled some strings and set it up.

Bob then proceeded to threaten Curtis Media and Capitol Broadcasting that if anything happened so that the interview that was scheduled to happen tonight got jeopardized, he would supposedly expose some nasty skeletons from Curtis Media's and Capitol Broadcasting's closet to get back at them. Apparently, his bosses did not think it was very professional to air threats on the radio.

Then he proceeded to ask his listeners to hack his own website.

curtis media and CBC are local businesses that have been working with our community for decades

yes, curtis owns a bunch of stations, but they're all local

clearchannel is THE MAN. buying up stations all over the world, flying in content digitally to save on costs, and destroying the idea of regional and local radio flavors.

i realize bob's daughter has nothing to do with this directly, but the idea that CBC and curtis media are bullying a multinational corporation is laughable
