Teen crashes car into Cary house

A teen faces charges after crashing a car into a Cary home on Tuesday evening, police said.

Police said the 16-year-old girl lost control and hit a street light, house and garage on Swiss Lake Drive.

The occupants of the house were there at the time but not hurt.

The driver's name was not released.

Building inspectors are surveying the damage to see if the home is safe.
