^^ You can get a lot more than $3000 for your eggs. I've looked into it and $10,000-25,000 seems to be the going rate.

Fun fact about sperm banks - very little of the semen is actually used in a relatively equalized distribution on a per donor basis.


When the woman picks the donor, the same profiles are picked again and again.

The physically fit doctor will end up with 100+ offspring (google it) at times and other donors get nothing.

Also some doctors have been caught swapping samples and actually impregnating women with their own semen. All true.
