Dallas Fort Worth isnt that great...its small and really a pain to drive into or around.

Syracuse sucks.

Atlanta is pretty nice.

the new terminal at RDU is pretty great.

Cleveland sucks.

Seattle has a good one.

All the NYC airports are so busy that its a pain to walk anywhere.

Dulles is ugly and always behind.

Reagan I like.

Charlotte isnt bad to be a smaller airport

RDU is honestly one of my favorites. Simple design, large, easy to get through security in a timely manner and new.

I've never travelled by air for business or sad stuff so I think all airports are awesome.

They're all about getting new places that I wanna go. I ignore the bad and just deal.

(And, as a smoker, I'm totally cool about pick-up everywhere.)

I used to like Philly because of all the stores, but once you've been there a few times, it's not that great.

I'm a big fan of Lansing's Capitol City Airport. Free wi-fi, 7 gates, and you can clear security in under a minute. It's great.

This is why I fly private...don't have to deal with the airport riff raff

But seriously.

Munich is sweet...easy to leave the airport during a long enough layover. Same deal with Frankfurt.

LHR is retarded with it's double security check-in and communal waiting area with gate assignments coming within 60 mins of boarding.

Any airport in NY sucks.

Charlotte is surprisingly okay.

RDU gets a thumbs up for their food vendors.

I'll never forget PHX or SJC with their $16 burgers

I'll stop looking like a pompous traveling ass now.

I like Charlotte some what... that big open area is nice... I like the new terminal of rdu, hate terminal 1

LaGuardia sucks. Detroit isn't bad. Philly sucks, I fucking loathe Miami.

I've forgotten most of the other airports I've been to.

good: JFK, jetblue T5 --> http://www.jetblue.com/flying-on-jetblue/t5/

bad: houston hobby HOU, i think southwest is the only airline there, the airport just looks really old, design hadn't been updated since the 1960s, air conditioning wasn't working well

but overall i like any airport because it means you're flying somewhere. the concept that we can get on a computer, enter in a credit card number and then show up, get on a plane to fly across the country is amazing to me.

Those that know me know I love me some KRDU General Aviation. Awesome building with great views
of all of the unique aircraft that come in/take off. Add in Crosswinds Cafe and it is FTW.

DEN is great, plenty of food & shops, easy to navigate
RDU is top notch for a smaller/non-hub airport
CLT is decent but some of the concourses are getting old and need to be renovated
ATL is good, easy to navigate, but for some reason seems to lack character
DFW (see ATL)

LGA is terrible, too small for the amount of traffic, outdated
EWR - never been but heard bad things
STL - terrible layout from what I remember

the good

nashville is my favorite and probably the only one left with curbside parking.
ft lauderdale is pretty damn good
rdu is good but is far from city center and i always seem to have to walk a long way to my gate at the very end

the bad

ohare
dfw
lax

all too big, too busy, too complex, and too crowded. They might be good if you are talking about just a layover but they are very hard to get into and out of.

SEA
SXM

Dislike:
The rest of JFK
LGA (ugh)
BOS (clusterfucked traffic, and shitty people)
BWI (clusterfucked traffic)
CLT (I hate their shitty regional gates)
PHL (90% chance of delay)
NBO (hot, claustrophobic, and run down)
CDG (terrible gate/security setup)
LAX (horrific double security for terminal transfers)

I also don't like KC.

Coming in, I waited 45 minutes at the baggage claim coming in (and it really isn't that busy of an airport).

Leaving, I was starving and thirsty and had to wait another 45 minutes in the security line. Then, when I finally get into the secure area, they didn't have any restaurants/snack stands/drink machines/etc. There was like one freaking water fountain and it was all the way at the end of the terminal .

That was 4 years ago though. I have heard they changed it around now so you can get sustenance in the secure area.

Favorite: Hahn, Germany (out in the middle of nowhere, german country-side. ZERO traffic ever. no frills, but no hassles either.)

Least Favorite: Norfolk. I swear everything in Norfolk is shit - this extends to their airport. The road leading to it looks like a 3rd world country, and the place itself is just dirty.

Don't know that I have a favorite, but Orlando is pretty nice. RDU and Charlotte are both just fine. And Fort Myers, FL is actually really nice since they renovated it, though it's not a large airport.

Least Favorite: Kansas City. The terminals are three separate, non-connected, semicircular buildings, old as hell, run-down looking, with nearly no amenities. What a dump.
*This is based on a visit in 1998. Maybe it's gotten better since then. Though, judging by it being on two other folks' least favorite list, maybe not.

I just have bad luck in Philly. When they were renovating I had to go out and back through security to catch a transfer. WTF? "Luckily" my flight was delayed 8 hours so it didn't matter, but they closed the airport bar at 9pm. Again, WTF?

I hate John Wayne in Orange County because they cut the engines off for a while because of noise codes during take off and then quickly fire them back up and everyone always freaks out.

Not a big fan of DFW because parking is such a pain in the ass. I travel for work and it seems like I always park at one terminal and always arrive at a terminal across the street so I have to take the shuttle to get to my car. Kind of defeats the point of parking at the terminal.

Aha, to YOU my friend, but to me, for the purposes for which I needed that particular airport, it was perfect. If I'm flying to Rome or to Dublin, having to put up with the craziness that is Frankfurt is a pain in the ass. Sure, it's not an airport that is served by any of the major carriers, but it still kicks ass because nobody is there. And I hate airport crowds, so it's perfect in that regard.

So settledown, there, compadre.
