I can do the double-play glove trick where you catch the soft toss with the side of your glove and your hand instead of catching it with the mitt.

one time i surprised a dude that was throwing softball before one of our intramural games

he went to throw, but right as he was releasing it i randomly jumped at his arm w/ my glove and caught the ball lol

Let's say you're running down the line and make a one handed "grab" that's really more like the ball falls on your hand and then you go down with the momentum of the dive/fall/whatever. How does a team prove possession? Is it when the ball "lands" on the hand or is it determined based on how much it squirmed when the receiver went down?
