FYI, Sublime played really early, then like 45 minutes of DJ before 311 came on shortly after 9.

We got there right when Sublime was ending so it kinda sucked for a while as they played endless loops of Petey Pablo.

Like thats the only song that's ever mentioned North Carolina.

Won backstage passes for the backstage bbq w/ 311 tonight. Free bbq, beer, and 311 meet and greet. First show was in August of '97 at walnut creek, pretty amped. /brag

Last time I saw 311 they played nothing but the new shitty stuff and none of the old classic songs. And the concert was overrun with teenagers.

the new Sublime stuff is growing on me. I just have to separate the original Sublime from Sublime with Rome, if you take them for what they are, Sublime with Rome is good stuff.

some shitty dj went on at 630 before sublime, for like 30 mins sublime came on at like 715ish..


oh yea forgot to say that at the clt show, they didnt cut on the speakers out on the lawn for some reason. i was pretty talking using my inside voice. and could here my buddy perfectly. people were like wtf

What was up with the you can't keep your bottle tops or carry beverages in containers into the seating area? Someone said it was something about trying to prevent people from throwing things on stage...yea...I'm really considering throwing a $5 bottle of water or $11 beer anywhere...

I was there in the seats. I was expecting lawn tix since it was a groupon ticket, but whatever. Overall, a good show. The drum solo was amazing, the bass solo had a little bit to be desired, but overall...it was good. I went more for Sublime than 311, but I was quite pleased with both shows.
