Does anyone have any experience with setting up an online appointment setting calendar? I'm looking to add something to our website so customers can just set something up directly but I have no idea about how to go about it at this point.
I don't care about having the calendar update online (we'll change the appointments if necessary). I really only want to be able to block out dates & times. Basically, we don't run appointment on Sundays so I'd like to block anything on Sunday and then anything before 8AM or after 8PM. Additionally, I'd like it to block off the next 2 days so that if today is Monday, you can't set an appointment for today or tomorrow and your first option is Wednesday.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm doing searches on Google now but I'm primarily getting a ton of software options. I'd kinda like to have a guide or something so that I can figure it out. I'm a general contractor, not a dev of any sort but I can get by on most things with a little bit of trial & error. I did our old flash site and most of our current site so I'm not completely inexperienced. If it's way too complicated, I'll pay somebody but I'd like to figure out if it's something that I can do first. I figure (hope) that what I'm looking for is simple enough that I should be able to figure it out though. 8/19/2011 10:05:04 AM |

missed the edit...
Basically looking for something similar to http://www.fourseasonssunrooms.com/FreeRequest/ApptOld_Appt.aspx?FranchiseID=25777&ZipCode=27616
Your basic hotel booking calendar is pretty much perfect also now that I think about it.
Also, if anyone is interested in doing it, send me a pm with a price.

that's what I'm gathering after looking some more. Guess I need to brush up since I've never actually used it beyond playing around.

This is WAY beyond what I need. I really am looking for simplicity. I just a list of days starting 2 days from current date, the customer picks one, and then I get an email. No realtime view, no timeslots blanked out, etc. Unfortunately, everything I find is well beyond this and is more of a full-on appoint calendar replacement.8/23/2011 11:01:27 AM |
