I was in the back seat with the window down and got a few obligatory "is this east germany of america"'s in there. There were at least 3 groups of 5 or more cops standing around as we drove by. When we were stopped, I told these two black dudes who were being detained not to say anything because it cannot legally help them - only hurt them - and got more dirty looks from more cops.

I was with 3 international students who all got a pretty good laugh out of the east germany thing.
