I have an old Dell Precision 370 workstation. It's all I can afford till I get out of grad school. For some reason, the stupid thing won't recognize my video card any more (works fine in Ubuntu). It won't see the hardware and only gives me the standard display driver. So, I think my best bet is to find another video card, pop it in, let windows discover it, then switch it out for the one that's currently in there - maybe windows (7) will then finally recognize it.

So, does anyone have an PCI Express 16x video card lying around that I could borrow for a bit? I think a newer model, PCI Express 2.0 would work too ...

if it works in ubuntu, just use that.
