Nalgene bottles full of sweet tea

Backpack full of bananas

Clark was the only good dining hall. Fountain inevitably would be full of 400 pounders from Sullivan stuffing their gaping maw with 5 burgers at once.

Not to mention, one of those fat guys from Sullivan lived on my floor in 2003, and turned out to have a huge kiddie porn stash.

Clark was closest to me so that's where I went all the time. I never really took food except a banana or ice cream cone on the way out since I had a meal plan. I went back when I was living off campus and didn't have a meal plan and my friend and I got yelled at for taking something like a bagel. The woman chased us out into the parking lot and demanded we give it back so I said, "OK, you would rather throw this bagel away and waste it?" She said yes.

One Wednesday night, power to east campus went out and we couldn't eat at Clark. We went to Case for free and had steak because it was athlete night.

I never really noticed a difference between Clark and Fountain. Never ate at Chase. Ate at UT once...it was cool, but mostly because you wouldn't have to leave the building to go eat.

i feel like clark had much more options and consistent product, and it was much more well lit and inviting dining.

also, Omeletes.

I preferred Clark.

Although Freshman year there was some loophole that allowed people who lived in Owen and Tucker to eat at Case. The first sign of athlete preference was the neatly arranged Milano cookies on silver multi tier trays.

I was always pissed off at Case because I wasn't allowed to eat there for dinner since it was restricted to tri-tower residents and NCSU athletes.

my story about case that i tell everyone is last year i had lunch there for nostalgia's sake, and at the bar in the middle they were doing burritos that day. richard howell was in front of me in line, and when asked what he wanted on his burrito he says "i want some meat".

Case was good occasionally. Like, once a week. Can't use it too much or it'll get old.

Haters gonna hate but I loved Fountain. The food wasn't the greatest but there were always alternative options. The specials they had around Thanksgiving and Christmas were fun too. Lots of memories with old college chums in Fountain.

Hot pockets at Fountain were always good to take with. I'd get four or five and keep them in the fridge. They re-heat well.

I always walked out with uneaten fruit in my hand. I always figured if they said anything I'd just say I was going to snack on it during the walk home and take a bite, but they really didn't care as far as I could tell.

I have yet to go to Case, and I live in the tri towers. Isn't there a restriction on when we can eat there?

We always walked out with food. Usually it was just ice cream but occasionally hamburgers or something. Only seen someone stopped when he was trying to carry out a plate.

Clark for sunday brunch was good, but it was always so hard to wake up before noon Then of course the hungover walk all the way from Bragaw

Case was 10x better than Fountain while I was at State. Clark did not exist. I'd steal fruit from Fountain on the reg. Apples and bananas mainly. Breakfast at Case was good. Also seeing Herb eating by himself in Case was amusing.

You can eat there for lunch during the week, and dinner on Sundays (I think). That's how it was a few years ago when I was a freshman. It was the only place I would eat lunch. Fountain and Clark aren't even close in terms of quality.
