That last bit worries me a lot (Glee and nip/tuck), but I'm such a sucker for horror and I like the commercials that I am seeing.

There is little chance this show is going to be very good. The production values needed to make a good horror show need to be high, and I doubt this show has the budget. The commercials look great, but I doubt its even remotely that good for the episode.

at this point, anything FX puts on I'll give a shot, as their track record is stupid good at this point, but I can see this being a pass for me

I think they're all ghosts: the Virginian woman and her retarded daughter, the housekeeper, the unstable boy he's counseling, the gimp suit, etc.

The only people so far who seem legit and alive are the burn victim who killed his family and the girl at their daughters school. I'm even suspect about the realtor who sold them the house.

This show doesn't have a subtle bone in it's body, it's all over the top all the time. All of the scenes that were supposed to be scary were utterly devoid of tension. The performances were also pretty terrible, except for Connie Britton and Taissa Farmiga. I've seen better horror homages on youtube.

I feel like the goal of this show was to pack as much shock value as it can into an hour and use horror as the platform. I guess the story of 2 plastic surgeons wasn't a good enough baseline to shock people into what you can put on TV. The child actors are pretty bad and the camera work makes me want to stab out my eyes. I hate when the camera zooms in quick and then zooms in again then it fucking zooms out and then it changes angles 40 fucking times argh. But I'll keep watching dammit.

The makeup is awesome I must say.
