Throw out the whole loaf, or just the pieces with mold on it?

the loaf, cause there are probably spores on the rest of it that will eventually grow

Eventually won't matter if you eat it today

Discard the mold and the rest should be good, but try freezing bread in the future if you don't use it daily

Be a man. Scrape the mold off and eat it.

well this was bread that I bought like, Friday, and took it in yesterday to use for lunch at work

decided to let it be and instead try and eat the plastic tasting wal-mart bread I've had. Then I discovered I only have two types of meat and no sides.

Lunch is depressing

There's a loaf of white wheat in my pantry that's mold free after a year. It's turned into kind of a science experiment. I doubt it's ever been opened which is probably why.

Both. Mix the mold into buttermilk to make a mold slurry and drink that shit up. It'll put hair on that chest.

I throw away the mold but then my appetite is gone so I end up not eating the loaf anyways

One time I accidentally took a bite of moldy bread. Now I can't eat it if it even smells weird.

It's like an iceberg I've done it plenty of times anyway, but not after reading an article I can't find right now.
